Exploring the Global provenance of Ganoderma lucidum to create Ganoderma lucidum in the Dabie Mountains.

Yue Wei and Guangdong Institute of Microbiology have set up an edible and medicinal fungus resources expedition team to explore the world's Ganoderma lucidum provenance. Over the past 21 years, they have traveled through 206national nature reserves, such as Dabie Mountain, Changbai Mountain, Wuyi Mountain, Siguniang Mountain, Xizang Mountain, and many Ganoderma lucidum provenances in Africa and North America. A total of more than 20000 strains of wild edible fungi have been collected.

There are more than 1800 Ganoderma lucidum, which has a large germplasm bank of edible and medicinal fungi in China.

After tens of thousands of gene comparisons and cell experiments, Yuewei exclusive Ganoderma lucidum strains (GL-YW-01 series) were screened and domesticated from thousands of wild Ganoderma lucidum strains.

The hinterland of the Dabie Mountains, the last primeval forest in East China, was selected as the imitating wild cultivation base at 31 °N latitude and 500 m above sea level, and standardized cultivation rules were established. 360 °quality control files were established in each planting area, which can trace the growth diary of each Ganoderma lucidum, really control the source quality, and create a "Ganoderma lucidum" with high quality of three cool, alcohol and Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides.
